it was my first time seeing it!
miguel surprised me by taking me to carlsbad beach
after getting some sushi and getting our tattoos retouched [:

if you don’t know what red tide is, it’s when plankton(?) i believe or algae or microorganisms come to the surface of the water in large quantities and makes the ocean look gross and nasty in the day

ie

and then at night the waves freak glow a beautiful blue!

AND THEN SOME OF THE PLANKTON WAS IN THE SAND SO WHEN YOU MOVED THE SAND AROUND IT WOULD GLOW TOO! SO ME AND MIGUEL WERE PLAYING AROUND LIKE DUMBASSES IN THE SAND. and i was pretending to be harry potter :3

and i believe that it only happens once a year ]:

i think i’m going to start exercising and eating right when school starts; and maybe just MAYBE i will get a seasonal job at american apparel on melrose then hopefully starting up my obey internship either in the winter or spring :3
